The Precious Present

Once again, I’m converting over to something new.  I wanted to see if I can set up a platform so i can use the iPhone and twitter to add content to this thing.  Hopefully, this will get me to write more.

Yesterday, we sat down to watch one of the episodes of Star Wars.  Brandon, Dillon and Emily were sitting quietly on the sofa.  Dillon was a bit frustrated that he can’t put his foot on the coffee table so he asked for help.  Brandon gets off the couch and swings around to the other side, asking Dillon to move so he wouldn’t smash his feet as he moved the table closer.

These little interactions are so priceless.  It’s amazing how time flies.buy cialis If they can only stay 3 and 5 forever…

Jason reminded me that I have not been update my blog in ages. so i figured I’d play with the facebook integration while i’m at it.  And I finished uploading photos to the 2009 photo album.

got in the water in the morning. now enjoying a kids bday party at mission bay. in the shade with a nice breeze.

watching ‘stand and deliver’. still one of my faves.

flopped around ljshore for a while. the water temp was > air temp. now prepping for zoo day. hope the weather clears soon.

I’ve started putting ads on the precious present. Of course I want to make millions. But in this case, I’m just using this to learn about the various offerings. with blip.tv, they use scanscout and i’m only allowing overlay ads. I’m interested in seeing how well that works. On the ad units on the right rail i’m using adsense. I’ll be looking to implement google ad manager soon.

I’ve been hooked on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew for the last 3 seasons.  This season featured an all girl breakdancing group, Beat Freaks, and an Asian crew, Quest Crew, in the finals.   It’s fun watching these dancers over the past few weeks.  And thanks to MTV.com for making all the videos available online.  Check out dancecrew.mtv.com
